Ideas are cheap; everyone has them, nobody wants them.

How many brilliant ideas have you had that never went anywhere? Why? They’re too simple. You have to break things down before you can make things them up.

Larry David (Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Shakespeare were particularly good at making much ado about nothing. So how is it that ‘nothing’ gets turned into hysterically funny or melodramatic big deals?
